Bickford College Trivia · last updated 18 September 2026

Bickford College Trivia is a private trivia game played by small, invite-only groups. This policy describes exactly what the app collects, why, and who it is sent to.

What we collect

DataWhy
Your email addressTo create and sign you into your account. With Sign in with Apple this may be an Apple relay address.
Your display nameShown to other members of your group on the answers list and leaderboard.
Your answers, the questions and stories you write, and anything you dictate The game itself. Visible to other members of your group. Voice input is transcribed on your device; only the text is kept.
A user identifierTo associate your answers, streak and scores with your account.
A device push token Only if you allow notifications, so we can send the question and reminders. Signing out removes it; so does turning notifications off.
Error reports If the app crashes or hits an error: the message, the screen, the app version and your device type, linked to your account. Used only to fix bugs.
Reports and blocks If you report a question or a member, or block someone: who, what, and the reason you give. Used only to review the report and to hide blocked members from you.
Invite codes you type Wrong codes are counted, to stop anyone guessing their way into a group.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, health data, or advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no purchases. Nothing you write is public — it is visible only to members of your invite-only group. Our hosting provider records IP addresses in its standard server logs for security.

Who your data is sent to

Your data is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. We keep weekly backups for up to 12 weeks so the game can be restored after a failure; data you delete disappears from backups as they age out.

Deleting your data

Open Settings → Delete account in the app. This permanently deletes your account, your answers and scores, your error reports, and your push token, and revokes Sign in with Apple. Questions you wrote in a group where you are the only member are deleted with the group, including any illustrations. Questions you wrote for a group that other people are still playing stay with that group, without your name attached. This cannot be undone.

Children

The app is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
